There are 6 different morphological stages which can be distinguished: myeloblast, promyelosite, myelocyte, metamyelosite, myelocyte, metamyelocyte and granule. segmented location Specific granules appear in the myelocyte stage. From this point on, cells are named for the type of granulocyte. The mature cells formed by those cells. Cell division stops at the metamyelocyte stage. Myeloblasts are poorly differentiated cells. with a diameter of about 15 microns
